The newly formed and completely excellent brass super group, Metro Brass, presents its premiere concert in the auditorium at Normandale CC. We are a group of local professionals playing music for 11 brass instruments ranging from classical to jazz. Admission is free!

I head back across the pond at the end of summer 2012 for a short stint on the Celebrity Constellation ('Connie' to its friends), filling in for the trombonist there as he takes a well-deserved break from his musical director duties. Highlights include another Baltic run and immersive wine cruises with overnights in France and Spain.

I have been invited to participate in an incredible evening of brass chamber music, organized and funded by Don Lovejoy, director of bands at Winona State University. More details to come!

My talented friend Jacob Tews has composed two outstanding works for orchestra and has invited me to play first trombone in his recital. He'll be performing his Viola Concerto, as well. Don't miss it!

My trio, Trombone a Trois, will be performing alongside the Minneapolis Trombone Choir as featured artists. The MTC puts on an annual concert in March, and all proceeds from the concert go to benefit the Judson Church Music Program.

Another ship for me, this time on the brand new Celebrity Eclipse! It'll be the same gig as last time, only with different theatre shows, an extra band member (guitar!), and lots of guest entertainers as we cruise the Med, Baltic, Atlantic, and Caribbean. I'm looking at visiting 15 countries, over 30 cruise ports, and on top of all of this, being lucky enough to share it with some of my closest friends from the Infinity. What could be better?

I've been offered a position playing trombone in the orchestra onboard the Infinity, a cruise ship that will spend the spring traversing the Panama Canal and the summer exploring Alaska.

This will be my second year playing with the Minneapolis Trombone Choir- organized as a benefit for the Judson Church in S Mpls. This year will feature my good friend Derek Crosier as the soloist on Ewazen's Concertino for Bass Trombone and Trombone Octet.

I have been asked to sit in with the MYS Philharmonic Orchestra for their portion of the MYS Winter Concert at Orchestra Hall in downtown Minneapolis. I'll be playing on two pieces.

STBB's annual holiday concerts. I'm currently subbing in as solo trombone for these incredibly talented folks until their regular guy comes back from overseas.

A reprise of our Oct 24th concert, at South High School with their wind ensemble joining the group for a joint performance.

I'll be playing 'utility' trombone on the MSO's first casual concert of the season, 'A Night At The Movies'. Works by John Williams (of course), Harold Arlen, Elmer Bernstein, and other popular film composers.
