Hi Lauren! I am looking for a Trombone teachers for my son. He is ten and just started tromone. Looking for a patient and supportive instructor. If you don't work with students that young, I'd apprecait any refferals you might be able to make. Thanks!
Hello Lauren, My name is Tim and I have just recently started a Dixieland Jazz Band in the Cities. We are still in the early stages of putting together this band and are still searching for the right trombone player to fill out the ranks, your resume really has us interested. I have put together some real world class musicians that can really play. We are made up of a sax player just moved here from the cruise ship circuit, tuba player who is professor of tuba at 2 major universities, piano player who is the first Vietnamese to graduate with a degeree in jazz performance, gutarist from NYC with a degree in jazz guitar, a drummer who's been playing Dixie Jazz for years, and myself, a high school band director/composer with a Masters degree in trumpet performance and a lifelong love of Dixieland Jazz. I want to fashion a traditional jazz band straight out of the 1920's to play New Orleans Jazz right off the riverboats in the style of Bix Beiderbecke and Jack Teagarden. I'm hoping the market is right for a new band playing Dixie rather than the same old jazz quartet all over again. We've only gotten together a few times, this is still a work in progress, but your ad looked like the type of player who might really fit in with our group. We have a rehearsal space in the ballroom of the Eagles club in Mnpls. We are just now setting up a reheasal schedule for January, don't have any dates set yet but will real soon. We don't have any gigs yet but we'll start promoting once we've got our lineup solid and get some rehearsals under our belt. We plan to get together 2, maybe 3 times a month and start promoting soon. Is this something you might be interested in? If so we'd love to invite you out for a jam once we have our January calendar set. We play off lead sheets mosty with some arrangements thrown in. Let me know if this might be what you're looking for.

Hope you are well! I saw a business card design that was for your particular card on a Google search this morning. I really really think it is a cool concept. Would you consider giving me permission to contact the designer and copy your exact card? I live in southeastern Virginia and don't really forsee a conflict of interest unless you see something I'm not thinking of. If you agree to that would you please give me the designer's contact info?
I really appreciate the consideration and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

The performance is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 20 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. The planned repertoire is music for large brass ensemble and I would like to hire musicians from the twin cities area.

Just discovered your site . Very nice!
Currently living in Omaha, teaching, and playing.
Congrats on everything!
I just listen to you playing the galliard on Youtube
and thought it was great. I was looking for someone to
'copy' as I have to play a Galliard for my first trombone recital in April.
A first recital at 42 years old is pretty scary, but you make it look so easy. Thanks Sharon
